Introduction
1. what is your name?
My name is Abhishek walia. my friends and colleagues call me Abhi.
2. What are you Majoring in or planning to Major in at KPU?
I am doing general studies at KPU, and this is my last semester, so my major will be general studies.
3. Why are you taking this course?
I am taking this course because I have a keen
interest in journalism and want to explore various aspects of journalism.
4. What are you hoping to learn in this course?
Journalism is exciting, and I was always surprised by their work, like how journalists gather all the information and the story quickly and accurately. It's good to share news and useful content with others, so I hope to learn how we can become like journalists, just want to learn the skills to share news and other content in public with proper criteria by taking care of media laws.
5. What is the best place you’ve ever visited? Why?
The best place I visited is back in Punjab, India. And it’s a golden temple at Amritsar. This is a central religious place for the Sikhs. The reason behind my visit was when I was in India, I was feeling sad and lonely, since the Golden Temple is a place of worship, I went there to find solace, worship, and have a positive mindset. Everyone is welcome here to seek this spiritual place because the atmosphere, positive energy, and smiles of other people there, make this place so heartwarming for me.
6. What do you like to do in your spare time?
With a busy life in Canada, I don’t get
much time to workout, so whenever I get spare time, I usually go to the gym or
workout at home. This makes me energetic and strong to do work and stay motivated. I also enjoy calling my Indian friends and sharing our memories.
I am a food lover, so definitely I will recommend a food. There is a dish karahi chicken it is so delicious. I love eating it because it is made with a variety of Indian spices, making it too yummy and giving it a rich flavor. It’s a good dish to have with friends because we can eat naan(bread) with it, making it more delicious and satisfying.

ReplyDeleteHello Abhi! Super interesting post! I would love to travel more but I haven't had the opportunity. A very close friend of mine had a picture of the golden temple in his room growing up and I always thought it would be one of the coolest sites to visit in the world. Also nice work on finding time to get to the gym between school and homework and everything, it's something I usually find an excuse to not go for! Great food recommendation I will be sure to give that a try!
